Darrell has over 25 years of experience in human resource management, organizational development, and executive coaching, as well as working as an internal and external consultant in both public and private sectors. He serves as Managing Principal of Northwest Executive Consultants, his own independent consulting practice he founded in 1995.

FEBRUARY 9 VLAB: Isilon Systems - The Journey from Inception to Success

Sujal Patel co-founded Isilon Systems back in 2001 to provide companies with cheaper and more efficient data storage for multimedia content hosting and delivery. It attracted venture funding from leading VCs, including Madrona Venture Group, Atlas Venture, and Sequoia Capital. Isilon flew high and raised $108 million in an IPO at the end of 2006. By the following year, the company was failing to meet its own sales projections, and its stock price plummeted.
