Rob is the CEO of Artefact Group, a Seattle Design and Innovation Consultancy that specializes in Human-Centered Design and Ideation. Under Rob's guidance, Artefect is marching towards its stated goal to create a world we all want to live in. Today and tomorrow. The firm's scope is far-reaching, having worked with VICIS to design a new helmet for the NFL to improve safety. The firm has also turned its meticulous eye towards homelessness in Seattle, Scholarship initiatives for Mastercard, and copious research and practices within the world of Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality.
Dan Liebling is the Staff Software Engineer at Google's Research where he helps humans and machines work together to achieve extraordinary things by leveraging software engineers, AI, and HCI. Prior to this work at Google, Dan was a Principal Research Software Engineer at Microsoft Research (MSR) where he focused on machine learning and the future of work. A civic tech advocate and part-time guest lecturer, Dan believes that governments and NGOs have been left behind in the "AI revolution." He works on a variety of civic tech side projects aimed at bringing intelligence and participation into local government. Dan holds a B.S. in Computational Neuroscience from California Institute of Technology, and an M.S. in Computational Engineering from the University of Washington.
As Avanade's Senior Director of Innovation, Aaron leads Avanade Innovation Labs emerging technology practice. At Avanade, they look to understand current trends, partner with other companies and startups, and bring point of views to our business executives and clients. Avanade Innovation Labs' current focus is on Artificial Intelligence (automation, machine learning, bots, voice, cognitive), block chain, immersive technology (virtual/augmented/mixed reality), API Management, and Digital Ethics.
Caleb Weaver manages public affairs for Uber in Washington State. In this role, he is responsible for all engagement with state and local policymakers and community leaders, the development of new regulatory systems for transportation network companies and today's modern workforce. Uber is leading the charge in many automation projects. Additionally, Caleb speaks regularly on the many social implications of AI/automation that we are already seeing in the marketplace.
Caleb passed the bar in Illinois and was a member of bar of Washington, D.C. for several years. He received his J.D. and graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, where he received a B.A. in history.
Cesar Keller is the former CMO of Microsoft LATAM and a leader of the marketing team responsible for Revenue Marketing and Customer Success. Currently, Cesar is a public speaker, angel investor, and dignitary. He is currently looking at the role of automation on the future of work and he is also developing the future of work and education to a tech empowered society.
