MIT Enterprise Forum Northwest is run by committed volunteers. That means we typically have many opportunities for people who'd like to help us create and market great educational content and programming, including our Evening Forums, Venture Labs and DEMO competitions.
If you're passionate about entrepreneurship or cool and disruptive technologies, consider joining us. You’ll develop your network in Seattle’s entrepreneurial community, enhance your technical knowledge, learn about the latest business concepts—and generally have a blast doing it
You can volunteer in any of the following capacities:
Programs Each program results from the collaborative effort of a team of people who come together for a few months to turn an interesting idea into a great event. This generaly involves weekly meetings or call-ins, phone interviews with potential speakers, and a little research. No specific background or experience required.
Marketing We rely on great communicators and feet-on-the-street volunteers to generate excitement and build communities using email blasts, blog posts, web updates, social media, community calendars, networking, and anything else that gets the word out.
Sponsorship Are you comfortable reaching out to past, present and future sponsors? If you’ve ever led a sales team or been a fundraiser, you know how exciting that can be. Serving on our sponsorship committee is a great way to generate financial support for our organization and meet the leaders of our vibrant business community.
Volunteer Committee Help us recruit enthusiastic people to keep the 30-year MIT Enterprise Forum Northwest tradition alive and well.
There’s More. Have an idea for a role we haven't described above? Hold up your hand and say I want to help. We’ll figure out a way to combine your experience with the leverage of the MIT brand to make things happen.
